Learning how to climb and protect traditional routes can open up an entirely new world of climbing. Although it can take years to perfect techniques, we can get you started. This class is designed to introduce the concepts of crack climbing, gear placement and anchor building to aspiring traditional climbers. Over two and a half days outside we will cover the fundamentals of traditional gear and crack climbing techniques. Women interested in this class should have solid lead belay and climbing experience as well as a basic understanding of sport anchors.

Crack climb, place gear, build anchors, get psyched and learn the skills you need to enter the beautiful and wild world of traditional climbing!
